Chandigarh 5 September (Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Taking strong action against the criminal silence imposed by the Punjab government, the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan today completely surrounded the offices of the Deputy Commissioner and SSP and government residences during the ongoing Pakka Morchas since August 30. From today's stages, the farmer leaders said that while extending solidarity with their ongoing struggle regarding the demands of employees and pensioners, in coordination with their announcement to go to the doors of ministers for their demands on September 12 and 13, the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan completely surrounded the houses of four Punjab ministers, Agriculture Minister Gurmit Singh Khudian, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Panchayat Minister Taranpreet Singh Saundh on September 12 and took along with them the 13 demands of the Kisan Morcha along with the demand letter of employees and pensioners that their demands will also be raised.

Earlier, on September 4, the stage of the front was dedicated to the demands of the employees and pensioners' struggle, in which a large number of employees and pensioners reached out to the Kisan Morcha, agreed to a joint struggle, supported the front, and advanced the path of joint struggle. Kisan Morcha, while mentioning the demands during today's gherao of officers, said that the farmers' movement in Bathinda district and the cancellation of the petitions filed against the farmers for burning stubble and for giving ownership rights to the farmers who have been in possession of the lands for centuries (including the issue of the land of the living village), compensation for the wheat burnt in the fire of village Ghuda, ownership rights of the settled farmers and compensation for the loss of crops due to floods by districts Amritsar, Fazilka and Gurdaspur, compensation for the crop lost due to bad paddy seeds by district Patiala, debt waiver by district Mansa to relieve the people suffering from debt, compensation for cotton by district Muktsar Sahib and cancellation of the police case and immediate resolution of the demands related to the other districts.

Today's gathering strongly condemned the inhuman atrocities committed against the Chief Minister in Shero village the previous day by the village youth Mohanjit Singh by showing black flags to protest peacefully in a constitutional manner and the Delhi Chief Minister when two female journalists asked questions, and demanded that appropriate action be taken against the oppressive officials. The speakers described the country, which is called the most democratic in the country, as a dictatorial state regarding this incident. During the sit-in, today's gatherings were addressed by State President Joginder Singh Ugrahan, General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokri Kalan, Senior Vice President Jhanda Singh Jethuke, State Secretary Singara Singh Mann, Janak Singh Bhutal, Roop Singh Chhanna, Jagtar Singh Kalajhar, and women's organization leaders Harinder Kaur Bindu, Kamal Barnala and Kuldeep Kaur Kussa and district president secretaries said that the morchas will continue until the 13 demands of the morcha are met.
