Chandigarh 7 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : India's renowned astrologer and Shiv Sutra speaker Shivashree Ritu delivered a Shiva Sutra lecture from the podium at the ancient Shiva Temple in Sector 21-C, Chandigarh. She explained that there is a divine connection between the worship of Lord Shiva, spiritual contemplation, and Mahadev Shiva and astrology. On this occasion, Maa Kamalinand Giri, Chief Priestess of the Kinnar Temple, Sector 26, Chandigarh, former Mayor Asha Jaswal, the main organizers of the event, Mrs. Sumita Kohli, Amita Mittal, Anju Aggarwal, and Mrs. Asha Malhotra, along with renowned social worker Ravinder Singh Billa, and a large number of Shiva devotees attended. Shivashree Ritu said that one of Mahadev's favorite things is 'bhasma'. Applying bhasma pleases Lord Shiva. You can prepare bhasma at home using some sacred and pure ingredients. Applying this bhasma pleases Mahakal and grants him darshan. Bhasma is a type of sacred ash. Vibhuti, Raksha, and Rakh are all synonyms of bhasma. The 'bha' in 'bhasma' stands for 'bhatrasanam', meaning 'perish'. 'sm' means 'remembrance'. Bhasma destroys sins and brings remembrance of God. Bhasma signifies that the body is perishable, and the symbol of remembering it is bhasma. In her lecture, Shivashree Ritu Singh further stated that Katha Mere Mahadev is a resolution that will serve as an important medium for spreading spiritual awareness, positive energy, and Indian cultural values in society. A large number of devotees participated in this program and experienced a divine and spiritual experience through devotion to Lord Shiva, spiritual discourses, and collective worship.
Shivashree Ritu Singh stated in her lecture that Lord Shiva's life and philosophy teach us simplicity, detachment, restraint, and philanthropy.
