Chandigarh 4 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A large number of employees, pensioners, contract employees, labourers, students and youth participated in the fronts on the sixth day today in the permanent farmers' fronts running in front of the DC offices for the burning demands of farmers and labourers. Employees of all sections decided to fight a joint struggle and raised the need to direct the struggles against the anti-people policies that are affecting everyone. Instead of going it alone, everyone should take the path of joint struggles. 

Addressing the gathering held today, state president Joginder Singh Ugrahan, state senior vice president Jhanda Singh Jethuke, state secretaries Shingara Singh Mann, Jagtar Singh Kalajhar, Janak Singh, Roop Singh Chhanna, besides teachers' union leader Digvijay Pal Sharma, contract workers Gurvinder Pannu and Varinder Momi, TSU's Krishan Aulakh etc., said that where the inflation of agricultural and household items is reaching its peak every day and making people's lives difficult, be it the prices of cooking gas or Chinese spices. Farmers are being put under financial burden by increasing the cost of fertilizers, sprays and agricultural machinery for agriculture and instead of buying their crops at full price in the markets, new anti-agricultural laws and conditions are being rolled out to loot them from traders and the employment of workers is being reduced, while allowances and arrears of employees are not being paid, pension is being stopped by implementing the new pension scheme, contract recruitment is being done instead of government recruitment, that is why this attack of the government is on all sections and it is a joint fight against all of them. 

They warned the government that if the government continues to maintain a criminal silence like this, then action will be taken to increase pressure on the government on September 5 tomorrow, therefore the speakers invited all the people to join the fronts in maximum numbers tomorrow. The employee organizations and farmer leaders jointly announced that on September 12, they will go to the houses of the ministers with the demands of the employees and pensioners and the 13 demands of the front and the farmer leaders clearly said that we will also take the demand letter of the employees and the demand letter of the 13 demands of these fronts will be given to Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudiyan and Finance Minister Harpal Cheema and they will be forced to accept these demands. On behalf of the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan, women leader Harinder Bindu called on women to mobilize as much as possible to solve the problems of women. Apart from the above speakers, Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union state president Yora Singh Nasrali, Bhajan Singh Gill, and the leader of the Toll Plaza Workers Union also addressed the gathering.
