Mann government embroiled in Mid-Day Meal and panjiri scam: Tina Chaudhary Playing with the health of children and pregnant women by awarding contracts to private companies: Tina Chaudhary Demand for a high-level probe and strict action against the guilty Chandigarh 5 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress spokesperson Tina Chaudhary today levelled serious allegations against the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during a press conference. She said that despite the Chief Minister holding charge of Markfed, the government deliberately awarded contracts for the Mid-Day Meal, panjiri, and other food supplies to private companies. ਜੁਬਾਨਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਪਰਚਿਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਡੀ.ਸੀ. ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰਾ, ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ 27 ਫਰਵਰੀ ( ਪੀ ਬੀ ਐਲ ) : “ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰੋ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਮੇਟੀ” ਦੇ ਸੱਦੇ ’ਤੇ ਅੱਜ 27 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਡੀ.ਸੀ. ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜੁਬਾਨਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਬਾਉ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜਨਤਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ, ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ, ਕਾਰਕੁੰਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ, RTI ਕਾਰਕੁੰਨ ਮਾਨਿਕ ਗੋਇਲ, ਮਨਦੀਪ ਮੱਕੜ, ਮਿੰਟੂ ਗੂਰੂਸਰੀਆ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਰੀਬ ਦਸ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਗੈਰ-ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤੀ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪਰਚੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਚੈਨਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਿੰਦਣਯੋਗ ਹਨ। ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਇਹ ਦੂਜਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰਾ ਹੈ। ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ...

ਜੀਈਆਈ ਵਿਖੇ ‘ਨਜ਼ਰ-ਏ-ਮੁਸ਼ਾਇਰਾ’: ਸਾਹਿਤ ਤੇ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਾ ਦਾ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 27 ਫ਼ਰਵਰੀ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ (ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ) ਅਤੇ ਜੀਈਆਈ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਡੀਸਿਟੀ, ਨਿਊ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਥਿਤ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਪ੍ਰੰਗਣ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਨਜ਼ਰ-ਏ-ਮੁਸ਼ਾਇਰਾ’ ਦਾ ਸਫਲ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਕਾਰਜਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾ. ਐਸ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ. ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਪਾਈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਯੋਜਕ ਕਮਲ ਦੋਸਾਂਝ ਨੇ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਜਕ੍ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਇਆ। ਮੁਸ਼ਾਇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸ਼ਾਇਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਹਿਫ਼ਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਰੰਗੀਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਬੁੱਟਰ, ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਗੁਲ, ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਦੋਸਾਂਝ, ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਲੋਚੀ, ਮਹਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਨੀ, ਜਸਟਿਸ ਹਸਨੈਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ, ਅਮਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਜੱਸ, ਸੰਦੀਪ ਜਸਵਾਲ, ਨੰਦ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਅਨਹਦ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸੰਧੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ। ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਈਨਾਂ “ਇਉਂ ਨਾ ਤੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ, ਇਉਂ ਨਾ ਨਕਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ” ਨੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਲਿ...

Sikhlens: Sikh Arts and Film Festival 2026 on Saturday in Presence of British and Czech Representatives; 41 Artists to be Honoured, 25 Films to be Screened Chandigarh 27 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The much-anticipated Sikhlens Arts and Film Festival will be held on Saturday at Tagore Theatre , bringing international prestige and participation to the event.
